Shane Tompkins

Shane Tompkins is the Managing Partner of TC Defense, where he leads business development, strategic partnerships, and corporate growth initiatives supporting defense, federal, maritime, and emerging technology markets. Shane graduated from Indiana State University and brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in procurement, supply chain management, contracts, and operations. Prior to joining TC Defense, he held senior leadership positions with global industrial organizations, including Director of Procurement roles responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiations, and operational excellence initiatives supporting complex manufacturing and infrastructure programs.

Throughout his career, Shane has led large scale procurement and supply chain organizations with responsibility for more than $1 billion in annual spend. His experience developing strategic supplier relationships, managing global sourcing initiatives, and driving operational performance provides a unique perspective on connecting innovative technologies with customer requirements while building sustainable growth strategies.

At TC Defense, Shane is responsible for expanding the company's presence across Navy, Department of Defense, and federal civilian agencies while cultivating relationships with government stakeholders, prime contractors, and industry partners. He leads efforts to identify new market opportunities, develop teaming strategies, support SBIR commercialization initiatives, and strengthen the company's maritime and defense portfolio. Leveraging both commercial and federal market experience, Shane is focused on building strategic partnerships that accelerate growth and bring innovative solutions to the defense industrial base.
