Our Story
Tompkins Consulting was founded by Dr. Matthew Tompkins and Dr. Zuhal Tompkins in 2009 with an initial focus on marine engineering and shipyard management. In 2012, Tompkins Consulting expanded into the Defense sector (dba T.C. Defense), providing program management and systems engineering to NAVSEA for both surface and undersea shipboard systems. In 2017, T.C. Defense expanded further into the Defense sector to support NAVAIR programs with expertise in aircraft mission systems flight test. T.C. Defense has continued to develop a team consisting of a small cadre of highly experienced and educated senior engineers and scientists that provide their unique expertise to both commercial and military customers.
